Mrs. Cheryl Lynell Gunter Williams, 63, of Lithia Springs, Georgia passed away Wednesday, August 29, 2018 at 10:10 AM. She was born July 3, 1955 in Duluth, Georgia, the daughter of the late Mr. Glenn Gunter and the late Mrs. Juanita Wages Gunter. She married Keith Williams on January 30, 1999 in Lithia Springs. She retired from the North America Mission Board as a Church Loan Processor. She was a member of Cornerstone Baptist Church where she served as a Deaconess and a Sunday School Teacher. She loved bible studies and traveling. She volunteered at the Pregnancy Resource Center in Douglasville. She was an avid fan of the Georgia Bulldogs and Country Music. She is survived by her husband of almost 20 years, Keith Williams of Lithia Springs; sister and brother-in-law, Gail and Jim Middleton of Leesburg, FL; brother and sister-in-law, Tony and Sue Gunter of Suwanee, GA; several nieces and nephews; and numerous cousins. Memorial Services in celebration of the life of Mrs. Cheryl L. Williams will be Saturday, September 8, 2018 at 1:00 PM at Cornerstone Baptist Church, 7167 S. Sweetwater Road, Lithia Springs, GA 30122. A time of gathering and fellowship will be held in the sanctuary commencing at 12:00 PM.
