Chong Yon Yi

Mr. Chong Yon Yi, age 50, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Thursday, September 14, 2006 at Wellstar Douglas Hospital. He was born August 15, 1956 in Seoul, South Korea. He was a member of Emmanuel Korean United Methodist Church in Marietta, Georgia. He served in the S. Korea Marine Corp. He was the owner of Fairburn Road Dry Cleaners. He is survived by his wife, Mi Ae Choi Yi of Douglasville; two sons, Myung Hoon Yi and Kevin Yon Yi both of Douglasville; his mother, Sok Yon Yun of Douglasville; sister and brother-in-law, Won Cha Yi and Chin Mo Yi of Douglasville; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Kwang Yon Yi and Kum Cha Yi of Lithia Springs and Ki Yon Yi and Sun Ok Yi of Kennesaw; several nieces and nephews also survive. A prayer service will be conducted Thursday, September 14, 2006 at 8:00 PM from the Douglas Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be conducted Saturday, September 16, 2006 at 11:00 AM from the Douglas Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Rev. Yong Chul Shin officiating. Interment will follow at Meadowbrook Memory Gardens in Villa Rica. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, September 15, 2006 from 3:00 PM until 9:00 PM.
