Christine Garner Matthews

Christine Bernice Garner Matthews, 86, of Villa Rica, Georgia passed away Wednesday, June 25, 2008 at Tanner Medical Center in Carrollton. Mrs. Matthews was born December 26, 1921 in Carroll County, Georgia; the daughter of the late Wiley Garner and the late Louella Black Garner. Mrs. Matthews was a housewife and was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include her loving husband, Leroy Matthews; daughter and son in-law, Lynn and Mike Storey of Villa Rica; son, Barry Matthews of Villa Rica; four grandchildren, four great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be conducted Friday, June 27, 2008 at 1:00 PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica with Rev. Todd Allen officiating. Interment will follow at Meadowbrook Memory Gardens on Hickory Level Road in Villa Rica.
