Christopher Robert Carden

October 3, 1961 — November 15, 2023

Christopher Robert Carden, affectionately known as Chris, has left behind a legacy filled with passion and love for life. Born on October 3, 1961, in Atlanta, Georgia, Chris embarked on a journey that would forever impact those who came into contact with him. Sadly, his journey came to an end on November 15, 2023 in Austell, Georgia, leaving a void in the hearts of all who knew him.

Chris had an insatiable love for motorsports.  Beyond his need for speed, Chris found solace and tranquility while indulging in carp fishing. Patiently waiting by the water's edge, he would cast his line and wait for that satisfying nibble. The excitement of landing a big catch brought immense joy to his heart. Another passion that defined Chris was his love for collecting sports memorabilia. His collection was a testament to his deep admiration for athletes and their achievements.

Chris was not only passionate about hobbies but also possessed an adventurous spirit when it came to culinary delights. A self-proclaimed foodie, he explored various cuisines with enthusiasm and an open mind. Music had a special place in Chris's heart, particularly rock and metal genres. The raw energy and powerful melodies spoke to his soul, providing him with an escape when life became challenging.

Christopher is preceded in death by his father, Robert Gene Carden.

He is survived by his mother, Katherine Shirley Brown Carden; daughter, Amber Carden of Ranburne, Alabama; son, Chance Carden of Canton, Georgia; grandchildren, Seth Whaley and Quinn Whaley; great grandson, Luke Kassars; aunts, Pauline Roberts and Betty Brown, uncle, Larry White; multiple cousins.
