Chuck Morley

Mr. Charles “Chuck” Brownlow Morley, age 65, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Sunday, September 6, 2009 at St. Joseph’s Hospital. He was born October 5, 1943 in Kingsport, TN the son of the late Mr. Harold Morley and the late Mrs. Ernestine Pyle Morley. He retired from the U.S. Air Force having served for over 21 years. He was of the Methodist Faith. He worked as a publisher for the Fayette Daily News for 15 years. He loved animals especially his beloved cocker spaniel, Jake and his pet birds, Buffett and Chesney. He is survived by his wife, Cindy Elaine Owens Morley of Douglasville; daughter and son-in-law, Michelle and Will McDonald of Huntsville, AL; sister, Lisa Taylor of South Carolina; brother and sister-in-law, Rick and Karen Morley of Peachtree City; mother-in-law, Elaine Owens of Douglasville; father-in-law and his wife, Charles and Nancy Owens of Senoia; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Chuck and Sara Owens of Douglasville; 3 grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive. A Memorial Service will be conducted Tuesday, September 8, 2009 at 2:00 PM from the Shepherd of the Hills Methodist Church with Pastor Adam Roberts officiating.
