Cindy Ann Nelson

Cindy Ann Nelson, 61, of Temple, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, August 4, 2026. She was born on December 10, 1964, in Decatur, Georgia, the daughter of the late William and Patricia Bush. She leaves behind a legacy of positivity, creativity, and dedication that will be fondly remembered by all who knew her.

Cindy devoted her professional life to serving as a communication operator. Outside of her career, Cindy cherished a rich tapestry of interests and hobbies. She found joy in music and various arts and crafts. She enjoyed fishing alongside her father. Cindy was known for her positive outlook and she faced life's challengeswith hope and optimism.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister, Christine Burkhart.

She is survived by her daughters, Elizabeth (Dwight) Wynn of Villa Rica, Becky (Jimmy) Saylor of Bowdon; grandchildren, J.J, Olivia, Jeremy, Emmett, Zane and Zava, niece; Miranda, nephews; Robbie and Billy.

Cindy’s memory will be held dear by all who were fortunate enough to share in her warmth, kindness, and indomitable spirit. She will be deeply missed.
