Clara Bell Brown

Mrs. Clara Bell Brown, 81, of Carrollton, Georgia passed away Tuesday, March 06, 2007, at Pine Knoll Nursing Home in Carrollton, Georgia. She was born October 10, 1925 in Campbellton County, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Mr. Oliver Clifford Dobbs and the late Mrs. Florence Wilson Dobbs. Mrs. Brown was a retired in-home care provider. She was a member of Flat Rock Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by the father of her children, Raymond Waldrop; her second husband, Troy Brown; step mother, Annie Iula Dobbs; two brothers, her twin Clyde Dobbs, and Don Dobbs. Survivors include her daughters and son-in-laws, Marie & John W. Allen, Sr. of Carrollton; and Brenda & Joel Dockery, Sr., of Temple; sisters and brother-in laws, Sybil Herron; Denice & Gerald Criswell; and Peggy & Lamar Hembree, all of Villa Rica; brothers and sister-in laws, A.C. Dobbs of Alabama; Marvin & Helen Dobbs of Villa Rica; Melba Dobbs of Villa Rica; A.J. & Carol Dobbs of Winston; and Randy Dobbs of Villa Rica; Aunt, Rosa McFall of Albany; she is also survived by four grandchildren, Melaine & Stephen Fendley of Villa Rica, John W. & Debra Allen, Jr., of Leesburg, Virginia; Matthew Lockhart of Villa Rica; Corey & Catherine Lockhart of Villa Rica; step grandchildren, Joel & Leia Dockery, Jr. of Bremen; and Marlena & Jeremy Boatright of Temple; eight great-grandchildren, three step great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, cousins and her hospice care providers, Darneice, Debra and Freda. Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday, March 8, 2007 at 3:00 PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica, Georgia with Rev. Jimmy Drew and Rev. Neal Williams officiating. Musical selections will be rendered by Mr. Danny Mote. Interment will follow in the Powell Chapel Cemetery in Villa Rica, Georgia. The following will serve as pallbearers: John W. Allen, Jr., Stephen Fendley, Matthew Lockhart, Corey Lockhart, Chris Hembree, and Thomas Fendley. Honorary pallbearers will be Melaine A. Fendley and Ashley Hembree.
