Clara Glenn Wynn

Mrs. Clara Glenn Wynn, 84, of Agape Road, Carrollton, Georgia passed away Saturday, July 19, 2008. A native of Carroll County, she was born January 16, 1924 the daughter of the late Mr. Tilman David Glenn and the late Mrs. Lena Emory Eason Glenn. She married Howard W. Wynn on November 6, 1943. She was a member of Flat Rock Baptist Church and was a homemaker. She was devoted to her beloved husband of 64 years and to her family. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son, Charles W. Wynn on July 16, 2001; sisters, Ora Bivins, Vennis Maynard, Flora Pierce, and Eunice Sullivan; and brothers, Roy Glenn, Eldred Glenn, and Raymond Glenn. She is survived by her husband, Howard W. Wynn of Carrollton; daughters and son-in-law, Carolyn and Larry Doggett of Ranburne, AL and Helen Ward of Carrollton; son and daughters-in-law, Tommy and Gina Wynn of Douglas; and Dana Jones Wynn of Villa Rica; 8 grandchildren, Sloane Doggett, Wes Doggett, Jones C. Wynn, Ellen and Scott McBrayer, Brad and Amanda Wynn, Valerie and Aaron McCullough, Tyler and Jill Ward, and Katy Wynn; 6 great-grandchildren, Rhett McBrayer, Tyler Coulon, Kason Ward, Kole Ward, Logan Wynn, Ava McCullough; several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be conducted Tuesday, July 22, 2008 at 3:00 PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Brother Carl “Red” Blevins officiating. Interment will follow at Concord Cemetery in the Hickory Level Community. The following will serve as pallbearers: Hulon Pierce, David Glenn, Royce Glenn, Michael Glenn, Harvey Pierce, and Charles Glenn.
