Claude Arp

Mr. Claude Edward Arp, age 73, of Lithia Springs, passed away Tuesday, October 30, 2018. He was born February 15, 1945 in Rockmart, the son of the late Mr. William Arp and the late Mrs. Sara Sue Hall Arp. Mr. Arp retired from the City of Douglasville after 26 years of service. He enjoyed fishing and the Atlanta Braves baseball. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brother, Billy Arp. He is survived by his wife, Mary Sue Jones Arp of Lithia Springs; daughters and sons-in-law, Tammy Arnold of Douglasville, Kathy and Daniel Harrison of Villa Rica, Patricia and Tim Holcombe of Lithia Springs; sister and brother-in-law, Ann and Richard Higgins of Austell; brothers, Marvin Arp of Aragon, James Arp of Rockmart, Lonnie Arp of Rockmart; grandchild, Sarah Harrison; several nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville Saturday, November 3, 2018 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM. Funeral Services will be conducted Saturday, November 3, 2018 at 11:00 AM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Rev. Kenneth Brown officiating.
