Claude Dewey Gerald

Claude Dewey Gerald, 77, of Temple, passed away on Thursday, May 2, 2024. He was born on September 12, 1946, the son of the late Harvey Wallace Gerald and Claudie Virginia Dunn Gerald.

He loved Georgia Tech, NASCAR, and his animals. He worked as a machinist for many years and he served as a deacon at Friendship Baptist Church of Atlanta.  

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Peggy Ann Wells; son, Kyle Adam Gerald and sister, Minnie Frances Walters.

He is survived by his daughters, Kayla Gerald, Sabrena Ann Gerald Dixon; son, Claude Keith Gerald, Kevin Scott Gerald, Tony Wayne Gerald, and Daniel Gerald; brother, Harvey Wallace Gerald, Jr.; thirteen grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren.

In accordance with his wishes, he was cremated. The family will have a celebration of life at a later date.
