Clyde Bolden

Mr. Clyde Edward Bolden, age 67, of Villa Rica passed away, Monday, January 26, 2015. He was born May 1, 1946 in Royston, GA the son of the late Mr. Robert Bolden, Sr. and the late Mrs. Clara Lee Clark Bolden. He was a member Midway Church where served as a deacon and lead the Midway’s Prayer Ministry for many years. He also taught Sunday School for the second and fifth grade boys. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Essie Mae Bolden.He is survived by his wife Shirley James Bolden of Villa Rica; daughter, Cynthia Louise Boyd of Atlanta; son, Clyde Edward Bolden, Jr. of Villa Rica; sisters, Louise Bolden, Bertha Bolden, Betty Bolden and Nelcina Lowe all of Atlanta; brothers, Robert Bolden, Jr., Phillip Bolden and Leroy Bolden all of Atlanta; five grandchildren, Shatavia Tucker, Denise Boyd, Amila Bolden, Aniah Bolden and Ajiah Peters; five great grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews also surviveThe family will receive friends at Midway Church in Villa Rica, Thursday, January 29, 2015 from 12:30 PM until 2:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Thursday, January 29, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Midway Church with Rev. Todd Wright officiating. Interment will follow in Meadowbrook Memory Gardens.
