Connie Lewis

Mrs. Connie Mae Jett Lewis, age 81, of Temple, passed away Sunday, January 11, 2015. She was born January 5, 1934 in Atlanta, Ga the daughter of the late Mr. Allison Dekalb Jett and the late Mrs. Madge Odell Hunton Jett. Mrs. Lewis was a homemaker and a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin J. Lewis; sons, Kenneth D. Lewis, Benjamin G. Lewis, Dennis T. Lewis; and six siblings. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Don Dougherty of Temple; brothers, Allison Jett , Richard Jett and Rodger Jett; grandchildren, Melissa Tanner of Carrollton, David Lewis of Hiram, Tatum Lewis of Villa Rica; great-grandchildren, Cody Hall, Josie Monday, Jorja Monday, Colton Keeter, Leelan Millerand Benjamin Miller.
