Connie Swafford Reed

Mrs. Connie Swafford Reed, 63 of Carrollton, Georgia, formally of Villa Rica passed away Monday May 12, 2008 at Carrollton Nursing & Rehabilitation. She was born June 4, 1944 in Villa Rica, Georgia. She is the daughter of the late Edgar Richard Swafford and Geneva Jeffers Swafford. She was a member of Midway Macedonia Baptist Church in Villa Rica. In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by her grandson Aaron Christopher Rainwater. She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Roy Reed of Carrollton, daughters and son in-law, Candy Glaze of Carrollton, and Sandy and Chris Rainwater of Villa Rica, sons and daughter in-laws, Matt and Brenda Reed of Columbus, Mike and Teresa Reed of Carrollton, Mark and Sonda Reed of Buchanan. Sister and brother-in-law, Terri and Randy Henry of Bremen, nine grandchildren, Trey McAlpin, Lakin Glaze, Brandon Reed, Kayci Glaze, Haley Reed, Ty Reed, Seth Reed, Blake Reed, and Anna Reed, a number of nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday May 15 at 11:00 AM at Midway Macedonia Baptist Church with Rev. Hoyt Lewis and Rev. Todd Wright officiating. Mrs. Reed will be placed in state at the church at 10:00 AM. Interment will be in Meadowbrook Memory Gardens in Villa Rica, Georgia.
