Mr. Conrad Lake Gaddis, Jr., age 65, of Villa Rica, Georgia passed away Sunday, September 6, 2009 at his residence. He was born February 6, 1944 in Orange County, California, the son of the late Mr. Conrad Lake Gaddis, Sr. and Mrs. Flora Kowalevski. Mr. Gaddis was a veteran of the United States Army having served during the Korean Conflict. He worked for and retired from the Institute of Paper, Science and Technology as an electrical supervisor. Survivors include his wife of over 44 years, Mrs. Bonnie Burch Gaddis of Villa Rica; his daughter and son-in-law, Sheri and Gary Easter of Villa Rica; his sons and daughter-in-law, Danny and Julia Gaddis of Marietta and David Russell Gaddis, Sr. of Villa Rica; his mother, Mrs. Flora Kowalevski of Columbus; his sisters and brothers-in-law, Cathy and Mike Griffin of Covington, Judy Pate of Columbus and Lorraine and Ronald Kirkland of Jonesboro; his brothers, David L. Gaddis of Mobile, Alabama, Michael Gaddis of Columbus and Gaston Gaddis of Valdosta; 10 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral Services will be conducted Thursday, September 10, 2009 at 2:00PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Villa Rica. Serving as pallbearers will be Hubert Newsome, Mike Griffin, Bryan Leeth, David Burch, Robert Burch and Randy Burch. Interment with military honors will follow in West Georgia Memorial Park in Carrollton, Georgia. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica on Wednesday, September 9, 2009 from 4:00PM until 9:00PM.
