Cooper Stratton Glisson, age 6, of Villa Rica, Georgia, passed away Tuesday, December 2, 2008. His final days were spent surrounded by his loving family. Cooper's life would seem too short to many, but those who were touched by him, understood that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives. Although Cooper's illness made him appear frail, his courage led us to believe that each day is a blessing and an opportunity to create lasting memories. Cooper will be greatly missed by many, including his loving parents and brothers, âWe will miss Cooper everyday and he will forever remain in our hearts.â He was a member of the Villa Rica First United Methodist Church. Survivors include his loving parents, Mr. Stewart Edward Harold Glisson and Mrs. Samantha Katherine Adolphson Glisson of Villa Rica; his brothers, Jackson Stewart Glisson and twin brother, Benjamin Samuel Glisson both of Villa Rica; his paternal grandparents, Victor and Patricia Glisson of Lebanon, Tennessee; his maternal grandparents, Forrest and Joan Adolphson of Tupelo, Mississippi; and his paternal great-grandparents, Harold and JoAnn Glisson of Starke, Florida and paternal great great grandmother, Esther Stewart of Forrest City, Florida; several aunts, uncles and cousins also survive. Private Funeral Services will be conducted Saturday, December 6, 2008 at 2:00 PM from the Villa Rica First United Methodist Church with Rev. Terri Henkel and Rev. James Smith officiating.
