Crockett Clifton

Crockett Weston Clifton, 33, passed away Friday, May 31, 2013. Celebration of life: 3 p.m. Tuesday at McKinney Memorial Bible Church, 4805 Arborlawn Drive, Fort Worth 76109, with Rev. Chris Freeland officiating. Visitation: The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday at Greenwood Funeral Home. An additional memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday, June 8, at Midway Church in Villa Rica, Ga., officiated by Rev. Todd Wright. The family will be available to meet with friends from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. at the church. Mr. Clifton was born May 13, 1980. He graduated from Oxford High School in Oxford, Ala., in 1998, where he was a member of the Alabama Choral Explosion, golf team and Show Choir. Crockett also attended Auburn University completing his degree in aerospace engineering in 2003. During his career, Mr. Clifton worked on numerous projects with Aerospace Coating, Sky USA, Goodrich Aerospace and Lockheed Martin. He considered it a noteworthy accomplishment to have been on the design team for the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter. Crockett was an avid Auburn fan and was a lifetime member of the NRA. He enjoyed playing golf, hunting and spending time with his family and friends. Survivors: Father, Ron Clifton and his wife, Michele; mother, Cathy Clifton; brothers, Chad Clifton, Cory Clifton and Brett Rupert; sisters-in-law, Anna Clifton and Lori Martin; brother-in-law, Barry Martin; niece, Gracie Clifton; and nephews, Noah Clifton, Jackson Clifton and Caden Clifton.
