Curtis Lee HelmsMr. Curtis Lee Helms, age 57, of Rockmart, passed away, Monday, July 2, 2018. He was born January 28, 1961 in Greenwood, SC, the son of the late Mr. Robert Louis Helms and Mrs. Barbara George Helms. Mr. Helms was a true mountain man, who loved fishing and hunting. He was an enthusiastic Republican and lifetime member of the NRA.He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Katy Helms and Chris Matthews of Savannah; sister and brother-in-law, Donna and Gregg Bates of Suwanee; brother and sister-in-law, Bobby and Teresa Helms of Rockmart; two grandsons, Greyson and Pierce; two nieces, Taylor and Michelle and nephew, Nic. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica, Saturday, July 7, 2018 from 12:30 PM until 2:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Saturday, July 7, 2018 at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Rev. Donald Voyles officiating.
