Curtis Smith

Curtis Lee Smith Mr. Curtis Lee Smith, age 82, of Bremen, passed away Wednesday, December 21, 2011 at Higgins General Hospital in Bremen. He was born February 24, 1929 in Carroll County, Georgia the son of the late Minured “M.B.” Britton Smith and the late Mrs. Hazel Ruth Chambers Smith. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War. He worked for Trailways as a diesel mechanic for over thirty years. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Jackie Gay Smith: sisters, Mae Blanton, Effie Mae Ellis and brother, Fred B. Smith. He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Terry and Beverly Smith of Bremen; sisters, Bobbie Lou Redding of Douglasville, Annie Jo Smith of Canton; one grandson, Steven Smith of Bremen. Several nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica, Friday, December 23, 2011 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral Service will be conducted Saturday, December 24, 2011 at 11:00 AM from the chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica with Dr. Allen Wilburn officiating.
