Cynthia DiAnn Bennett, age 72, passed away on April 1, 2024. She was born on June 21, 1951, in Dalton, Georgia, to Mr. Frank Worley and Mrs. Lorine Worley.
DiAnn was a remarkable individual whose life was filled with determination. She carved a path for herself as a successful beautician and business owner, leaving behind a legacy that will be remembered for years to come. DiAnn's passion for her work shone brightly through her ownership of DiAnn's Salon on Bankhead Highway, which she established in 1981. She was a talented beautician who excelled in all aspects of her craft, with a particular fondness for creating beautiful nail designs. Her proudest accomplishments undoubtedly included the success of her salon, where she poured her heart into making her clients feel confident and beautiful.
Outside of her professional endeavors, DiAnn was a devoted family woman who cherished spending time with her loved ones. She adored her dog Baxter, finding joy in his loyal companionship. Family always came first for DiAnn, reflecting her strong sense of loyalty and love towards those closest to her. Known for her supportive nature and bold personality, DiAnn was described as determined and strong-willed by those who knew her best. Her mighty spirit was matched only by her eagerness to love and quickness to defend those she cared for. With a good sense of humor and a witty demeanor, she brought light and laughter into the lives of all who had the pleasure of knowing her. In addition to her thriving career and dedication to family, DiAnn found joy in hobbies such as cars and horses, and embraced her passion for music.
DiAnn is preceded in death by her loving husband, Douglas Fairbanks Bennett, who shared in the joys and triumphs of her life.
She is survived by her son, Sean Bennett and his partner Amanda “Mandy” Goldin; daughters, Shea Bennett and Katrina Lee Bennett; grandchildren, Lyllian Cynné Bennett, Madigan Grace Bennett, Greyson Bradford Lippiatt, Memphis Cash Lively Goldin; parents, Frank and Lorine Worley; sisters, Melinda Worley and Shawanee Worley; as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.
In accordance with her wishes, Mrs. DiAnn was cremated.
