Cynthia Denise Lee

Cynthia Denise Lee, 67, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 27, 2025. She was born on August 29, 1957 in Atlanta, Georgia. Cynthia was a beacon of warmth and joy in the lives of all who had the privilege to know her. Her vibrant spirit and deep love for her family, especially her cherished grandchildren, filled her life with unforgettable memories.

Those who knew Cynthia knew her as someone who enjoyed the simple pleasures of life. She had a special love for Elvis and watching movies with her loved ones. Cooking was another one of her passions, where she expressed her love through the meals she prepared.

Cynthia's legacy is one of family love, a passion for music, and a joyous spirit. She leaves behind a rich legacy of laughter, love, and cherished moments that will live on in the hearts of her family and friends. As we remember Cynthia Denise Lee, we celebrate a life well-lived.

Cynthia is preceded in death by her husband, Ronald G. Hawk; mother, Sarah Lee, as well as her grandsons, Jabarrie and Santravious.

She is survived by her daughter, Tamisha Lee of Austell; sisters, Connie Tamplin (Nathaniel Marks) of Douglasville and Tora Freeman of Atlanta; grandchildren, Vontezee, Justin, Nathaniel and Iesha; nephews, Dominique Marks and Terrence Coleman, as well as a host of great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM on Friday, May 2, 2025 with a funeral service to follow in the Chapel of the funeral home at 12:00 PM.
