Cyril Tuggle

Mrs. Cyril Irene Carter Tuggle, age 93, of Winston, Georgia passed away Thursday, November 7, 2013. She was born May 8, 1920 in Whitesburg, Georgia the daughter of the late Mr. Vivian Carter and the late Mrs. Annie Mae Davenport Carter. She married James William Tuggle on July 5, 1938. She was a member of New Gate Church in Sharpsburg. She worked as a secretary for Tuggle Flooring Co., Inc. She was devoted to family and loved spending time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed gardening and cooking. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James William Tuggle; brother, Verlon Carter and sister, Christine Carter Couch. She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Marilyn and Earl Hampton of Suwanee; and Claudette and Charles Hilbun of Bremen, AL; son and daughter-in-law, Norman and Jane Tuggle of Winston; brothers and sisters-in-law, Marvin and Kaye Carter of Brandon, MS and Carlton and Martha Carter of Douglasville; four grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Douglas Chapel, Sunday, November 10, 2013 from 3:00 PM until 5:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Monday, November 11, 2013 at 1:00 PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville with Pastor Emeritus Tom Rowe officiating.
