Dana Alexandra Johnson

Dana Alexandra Johnson, 31, born on July 14, 1993, departed from this world on Friday, March 7, 2025, leaving behind a legacy of kindness and a profound commitment to serving others.

Dana possessed a passion for helping others. Her heart was particularly drawn to those in need, shown by her dedication to volunteering at an assisted living home, where she brought joy to many. Her commitment to service extended beyond local boundaries; she was known for gathering and donating bibles to third world countries, an act that reflected her faith and desire to provide hope and support to those less fortunate.

An animal lover, Dana found joy in the company of creatures great and small. Fishing was one of her favorite hobbies as well as spending time with her own pets.

Dana Alexandra Johnson will be remembered not only for her gentle spirit and generous heart but also for the mark she left on the lives she touched.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents, James “Jimmy” Johnson, Josephine Johnson and Jack Richardson, whom she loved dearly.

She is survived by her parents, Jan and Gary Johnson of Douglasville; her brother, Jade Chumard of Douglasville; her aunts and uncles, Jarita and Bob Bretherton of Ellijay and Mark and Kristin Johnson of Canton; her grandmother, Janice Richardson of Douglasville; and cousin, Jack Johnson as well as several other family members and many friends.

A private service will be held for the immediate family.
