Ms. Dana Elaine O’Bannon Henderson, age 50, of Hull, GA. went home to be with Jesus on June 6, 2024. She was born April 7, 1974, in Tupelo, MS. to the late Tony Eugene O’Bannon and Mrs. Elaine Rita Delikta O’Bannon. Dana was a beloved Mother, Sister, Daughter, Aunt, and Meema. Her devotion and love to her family, especially her boys and grandbabies, was unconditional.
Dana dedicated over 30 years of her life to her business, Dana’s Kidz, in nurturing and educating as a childcare provider. Her passion for teaching and her extraordinary ability to connect with her littles made her a remarkable educator and mentor. Dana’s love for her work was evident in the many lives she touched and the bright future she’s helped to shape.
Beyond her professional life, Dana was known for her immense kindness and generosity. She had a heart of gold and would do anything for anyone. Her family and friends will forever remember her warm spirit, unwavering support, and the joy she brought into their lives.
Dana found happiness in the simple pleasures of life, such as spending time with her family and riding in her jeep with the music playing. She adored her cats, who brought her much comfort and companionship. Her talents and passions shone brightly in everything she did, leaving a lasting impact on all who knew her.
Dana will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all those whose lives she touched along the way. Her legacy of love, kindness, and dedication will continue to inspire and guide us.

Shauna O’Bannon of Douglasville, GA. Grandchildren, Ramona, Rowan, Easton, Emerson, and Maylee. Nieces, Zoe, Lexi, Maddie, Callie, Ollie, and Ella. Nephews,
Hunter, Tristan, and Tyler.

The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville on Tuesday, June 11, 2024 from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM 2189 Midway Rd. Douglasville, GA 30135. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM. Interment will take place at Sunrise Gardens of Memories 11261 Veterans Memorial Hwy, Douglasville, GA 30134.
