Danielle Denise Brown

October 9, 1979 — August 26, 2021

Danielle Denise Brown was born in Queens, New York to the late Florence Beckett-Harris and Medicus "Bobby" Brown on October 9, 1979. Danielle received her formal education through Cayce, South Carolina Public School System. While in high school, Danielle played the violin and later the flute which eventually led to her participation in the marching band during home and away games. Danielle was also crowned Miss Bearcat in the Homecoming Court at Brookland Cayce High School where she would later graduate on June 4, 1997. Paralleling her schooling, Danielle's mother instilled a strong belief in Creator God and she would continue to develop and nurture her own relationship with the Lord up unto her final day. When Danielle graduated from high school, she began attending Midlands Technical College where she earned her Associates Degree on May 10, 2012. Shortly thereafter, she applied and was accepted to Columbia College and attended one semester before having to stop abruptly due to health issues. However, and despite life's challenges, Danielle had her firstborn, Dorian Nihshon Williams on September 2, 2002, and on May 9, 2005, she had Desmond Josiah Williams. When Danielle wasn't busy being a single mother of two young sons on her own, she enjoyed cooking, cleaning, reading, researching, watching movies while spending time with her sons, her fiancé, Lashawn "Pop" Smalls, and the rest of her family and friends. Before Danielle's untimely death of 41 years on August 26, 2021, she was enrolled in a Cannabis Investors course. She received two certificates of completion in May of 2021, with aspirations of completing the course and owning her own business to help those who were in pain of which she could highly relate to. Danielle is preceded in death by her mother, Florence Becket-Harris and her nephew, Quentin McGee. Ms. Brown is survived by her sons, Desmond Williams and Dorian Williams both of Douglasville, Georgia; fiancé, Lashawn Smalls of Douglasville, Georgia, father, Medicus "Bobby" Brown of Lithia Springs, Georgia; sisters and brothers-in-laws, Audrey and James McGee of Douglasville, Georgia, Sharon Brown of Waxahachie, Texas, Florence and Dave Ndiaye of Knoxville, Tennessee; brother, David Brown of Ionia Michigan; half-brother, Medicus Brown, Jr. of Raleigh, North Carolina; several nieces and nephews; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, a plethora of friends, and King, her dog.
