Danna Linville Freeman, passed away peacefully at home on November 25, 2023. She was born on August 31, 1949, in Tallahassee, Florida to the late Mr. Daniel Bradley Linville, Sr. and the late Mrs. Anne Mason Linville.
Danna had a passion for knowledge and was a retired employee of the State of Georgia Board of Education. She was an avid reader who found comfort and joy in books. Additionally, Danna had a special love for animals, particularly dogs and cats. She had a big heart which was evident in her interactions with others. She was also known for her sense of humor and matter-of-fact personality. One of Danna's proudest traits was her green thumb. She truly enjoyed gardening and possessed an extraordinary talent for it.
In memory of Danna Linville Freeman, let us hold onto the cherished moments we spent with her. Her infectious laughter and warm smile will forever be etched in our hearts. May she find eternal peace knowing that she made a positive impact on those who were fortunate enough to know her.
In addition to her parents, Danna is preceded in death by her brother, Daniel Bradley Linville, Jr.
Danna is survived by her sisters, Sherrill (Robert) Stanford and Susan (Greg) Stefanovic; nieces, Michelle Jenkins, Beth Dunton, Jennifer Shelnutt, Melissa Schultz; nephew, Matthew Bailey; as well as several great nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Friday, December 8, 2023 at 2 PM, followed by the memorial service at 3 PM at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville, GA.
