Danny Ballew

Mr. Danny Ballew, 60, of Lithia Springs, Georgia passed away Sunday, December 31, 2006 at Wellstar Cobb Hospital. He was born August 24, 1946 in Mineral Bluff, Georgia the son of Mrs. Etta Hyatt Ballew and the late Mr. Andrew Reid Ballew. He attended Bethel Baptist Church in Douglasville. He married Linda Daniel on June 13, 1969. He retired as a television technician from Richey Television. In addition to his father he was preceded in death by his brother, Maxie Ballew. He is survived by his wife of 37 years, Linda Daniel Ballew of Lithia Springs; one son and daughter-in-law, Danny Wayne and Judy Ballew of Lithia Springs; 2 granddaughters, Brittany Lee Ballew and Sarah Brooke Ballew; one grandson, Danny Wayne Ballew; his mother, Etta Hyatt Ballew of Mineral Bluff; four sisters, Juanita Hardigree of Smyrna, Pat Brown of Marietta, Carol Seymour and Evelyn Gibbs both of Mineral Bluff; one brother, R.J. Ballew of Mineral Bluff; mother-in-law, Essie Daniel; several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be conducted Wednesday, January 3, 2007 at 2:00 PM from the Douglas Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Rev. Alton Williams and Rev. Joel Alexander officiating. Interment will follow at Mozley Memorial Gardens with the following serving as pallbearers: Bernard McVey, Justin McVey, Charlie Daniel, Allyn Daniel, David Terrell and Allen Stewart. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Douglas Chapel Tuesday, January 2, 2007 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM.
