Mr. Danny “Leggs” Forrest Williams, 66, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Saturday, November 21, 2015. He was born February 12, 1949 in Douglasville, Georgia, the son of the late Mr. Richard S. Williams and the late Mrs. Charliane Beatrice Echols Williams. He was a veteran in the United States Marine Corps, having served during the Vietnam War. He worked as a Fire Fighter for the Douglas County Fire Department for over 20 years. He was a car enthusiast and an avid fan of NASCAR. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, April and Jason Cochran of Douglasville; his son and daughter-in-law, Chris and Lynn Mladek Williams of Villa Rica; sister and brother in law, Ann and Thomas Crawford of Douglasville; four brothers and sister in law, Steve and Debbie Williams, Johnny Williams, Ricky Williams and Scott Williams; several aunts and uncles, three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville, on Tuesday, November 24, 2015 from 2:30 PM until 4:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted on Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at 4:00 PM at the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville with Rev. Kevin Harris conducting the service. Interment will follow at Georgia National Cemetery in Canton on Wednesday, November 25, 2015 at 12:30 PM with military honors provided by the United States Marine Corps Honor Guard.
