Darlene Rice Miller

Mrs. Darlene Marice Rice Miller, age 65, of Piedmont, AL, passed away Tuesday, November 18, 2014. She was born in San Diego, CA the daughter of the late Mr. Laddie Ralph Rice and the late Mrs. Joyce Marie Hayhurst Rice. Mrs. Miller was a member of the Kappa Eta Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi and served as Secretary of the Chapter. She married Julian Paul Miller on April 29, 1989. She worked as the Jewelry and Camera Manager of Famous Barr and worked as a Seamstress at Lee for many years. Mrs. Miller was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Mark Duff Rice. She is survived by her husband of 25 years, Julian Paul Miller of Piedmont, AL; daughters and son-in-law, Donna Marie Scott and Jim Brown of Titusville, FL, Rebecca Lou Falls and Rodney Falls of Louisa, KY, Julie Ann Haines and Jimmy Haines of Cocoa, FL; sisters and brothers-in-laws, Connie Ann Brentgartner and Robert Brentgartner of Troy, Mo, Anita Sue Larsen and Thom Larsen of Apopka, FL; twelve grandchildren, Amanda Marsh of Titusville, FL, Jason Marsh of Titusville, FL, Daniel Falls of Louisa, KY, Brianna Falls of Louisa, KY, Steven Scott of Cocoa, FL, Jessica Haines of Cocoa, FL, Wesley Harrison of Cartersville, Miranda and Shane Bohannon of Cartersville, Rachel and Jack Hebb, III of Dallas, Dara and Andrew Wick of Georgia, Eric and Danielle Powell of Georgia , and Christine and Jason Rabun of Georgia; and seven great grandchildren, Jacob Hebb, IV, Clara Jane Rabun, Makenzie Powell all of Georgia, Parker Bohannon, Hannah Bohannon, Tyler Bohannon and Callie Bohannon all of Cartersville. Several nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends Saturday, November 22, 2014, from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Saturday, November 22, 2014, at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Meadowbrook Memory Gardens.
