Darline C. Hulsey

Mrs. Darline C. Hulsey, 70, of Zion Church Road, Dallas, Georgia passed away Saturday, July 16, 2005 at Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia. She was born December 10, 1934, in Paulding County, Georgia. She was the daughter of the late Lee Buran Carr and the late Grace Boyce Carr. Mrs. Hulsey was a member of Harmony Grove Baptist Church. She operated Hulsey Grocery Store on Hwy 120 for 7 years. She also worked for 25 years for Edwards Shirt Company and retired from National Envelope Company in Austell. Mrs. Hulsey was a devoted wife, loving mother and grandmother and cherished her family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Wendell Hulsey and her sister, Barbara Jean Thornton. Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Hershel Hulsey of Dallas; two daughters and sons-in-law, Elaine and Jimmy Whitley of Dallas and Patricia and Mitchell Wiggins of Bremen; two sons and daughter-in-law, Winferd Wade Hulsey of Dallas and Marty and Tammie Hulsey of Muscadine, Alabama; Sister and brother-in-law, Joann and David Smith of Villa Rica; brothers and sisters-in-law, Douglas and Patsy Carr of Villa Rica and Ronald and Kay Carr of Villa Rica; 9 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, July 19, 2005 at 4:00 PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica with Rev. Glenn Morrow, Rev. Jerry Stamps and Rev. Marty Hulsey officiating. Interment will follow at Zion Baptist Church Cemetery in Dallas, Georgia. The family will be receiving friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica, Sunday, July 17, 2005, from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM and Monday, July 18, 2005 from 9:00AM until 9:00PM.
