Mr. Darrell Joseph Arnold, age 62, of Douglasville, passed away on Sunday, January 21, 2024. He was born October 3, 1961 in Memphis, TN to the late Mr. James Alvin Arnold and the late Mrs. Mary Irene Arnold. He was a man of many passions and lived a life full of adventure and joy. Darrell will be remembered for his kind heart, infectious laughter, and his unwavering love for building rock gardens and collecting frog statues. His love for rock gardens began at an early age when he would spend countless hours arranging stones, creating serene and beautiful landscapes. Frog collecting became another notable interest for Darrell. Throughout his life, he had a great collection of frog statues from various places. Darrell's sweet tooth was well-known amongst those close to him. He had an undeniable weakness for all kinds of candy. In addition to his hobbies and interests, Darrell held a deep appreciation for science fiction. He was an avid fan of both Star Wars and Star Trek universes. Outside of his hobbies, Darrell was deeply dedicated to his family. He was a loving husband, father, and a supportive friend. He was always willing to lend a helping hand, and always put others first.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Charles Arnold and Phillip Arnold.

He is survived by his wife, Laura Dianne Arnold; daughters, Leigh Anne Arnold Power and Dave Power of Redcar, England, Crissy Arnold of Douglasville; son, Darrell Arnold of Douglasville; brother, Richard Arnold and Rosalyn Arnold of Water Valley, MS; numerous nieces and nephews; best friends, Mike, Mindy, Travis and Steve, Cindy & Billy, Fred & Heather.

According to Mr. Arnold's wishes he was cremated.
