David Thomas Driver

Mr. David T. Driver of Temple Ga. passed away peacefully at his home in Temple with his family by his side on Sunday, November 30, 2025. He was born June 3, 1944, the son of the late Johnny and the late Florene Driver of Sandhill, GA. David was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle and friend.

He married Patricia Venable Driver in 1968 and they have shared a lifelong love that was unbreakable. He was a true gentleman who made it his mission to greet with a kind smile and a handshake to everyone. He and his wife Pat enjoyed vacations and many fishing trips together. He especially enjoyed fishing with his father-in-law, brother, and in-laws many times. He worked for Transamerica 24 years, then he and his wife owned D&D Trailer Repair for 15 years, and worked for West Ga. University for 10 years.

He is survived by his wife Patricia; son, Jason Driver; daughters, Deborah (Brad) Corrao, and Tamera Hensley; grandchildren, Josh Sauls, Ben Sauls, Tyler Brown, and Hannah (Chase) Wright; great-grandchildren, Bethany, Blakelyn, Brianna, Brookley Brown, and Vera Wright.

He was also preceded in death by his wife Linda Vaughn Driver; brother, Dovard Driver; sisters Iva Maxwell and Lovie Haynes; a number of nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home Villa Rica Chapel on Saturday, December 6, 2025 from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM with funeral services at 1:00 PM with Rev. Michael Gilreath officiating. Interment will follow at Center Point Methodist Church Cemetery in Temple.

The following will serve as pallbearers: Rusty Haynes, Josh Sauls, Tyler Brown, Mark Ward, Jerry Robinson, and Marcus Harper.
