David Thomas Golden

David Thomas Golden, 63, of Villa Rica, passed away on Wednesday, February 14, 2024. He was born on December 31, 1960 in Baumholder Germany, the son of the late Glenn Melborne Golden and the late Ollie Doolin Golden.

David worked as a truck driver for Averitt Express for 25 years. 

He is survived by his sister Lisa and brother in law Demetrius, sister Sue Ann and brother in law Curt Hallinger all of Clayton, North Carolina; and brother, Glenn M. Golden, Jr. of Montgomery, Alabama; several nieces and nephews also survive.

In accordance with his wishes, he was cremated. The family will have a celebration of life on Saturday February 24^th at 3:00 PM at David’s home in Villa Rica. 

Remembrances can be made through charitable donations to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital in lieu of flowers.
