David Heilman

Mr. David Norman Heilman, 73, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Monday, July 23, 2018 at his residence surrounded by loved ones. He was born October 9, 1944 in Jamestown, New York the son of the late Mr. Norman Heilman and the late Mrs. Irene Wright Heilman. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corp and was very patriotic. He married Lynda Lord on August 24, 1968 in Falconer, New York. He retired as a Cable TV Technician from Time Warner. A fun loving man, he loved clowning around, making others laugh, and being a jokester. He loved music, the outdoors, gardening, hummingbirds and dogs. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Wayne Heilman. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Lynda Lord Heilman of Douglasville; two daughters and a son-in-law, Michele and Doug Grout of Powell, OH and Renee Dunn; sisters and brothers-in-law, Donna and Ed Bowman and Joan and Denny Barrus all of New York; brothers, Carl Heilman and Dennis Heilman both of New York; six grandchildren, Kendra, Nolan, A.J., Cameron, Alexa, and Kyle; numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville, Wednesday, July 25, 2018 from 12:00 PM until 1:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at 1:00 PM at the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville with Chaplain Sam Braswell officiating. Military Honors will be provided by the U.S. Marine Corp Honor Guard.
