Mr. David Hoyt Johnson, 70, of Lithia Springs, Georgia passed away Friday, May 19, 2006. He was born August 15, 1935 in Fulton County, Georgia the son of the late Mr. Willie Luther Johnson and the late Mrs. Bessie Sams Johnson. He was a member of Floyd Road Baptist Church in Mableton. He worked as a sheetrock contractor. He enjoyed fishing and was an avid NASCAR and Braves Baseball Fan. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Molly E. Johnson of Lithia Springs; one daughter and son-in-law, Dellene and Calvin McCleary of Winston; three sons and daughters-in-law, William and Wendy Johnson of Dallas, Tommy and Colleen Johnson of Lithia Springs, and Mike and Sonya Johnson of Douglasville; one sister and brother-in-law, Wylene and D.A. Whitfield of Cleveland, GA; 11 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be conducted Tuesday, May 23, 2006 at 1:00 PM from the Douglas Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Johnson officiating. Interment will follow at River View Memorial Park in Smyrna. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Douglas Chapel on Monday, May 22, 2006 from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM.
