David McConville

David McConville, 65, of Douglasville, passed away on Sunday, November 26, 2023. He was born on July 7, 1958. He is the son of the late Bede Patrick McConville and the late Clara Olive Cook McConville.

David loved his family dearly, especially his grandbabies. Throughout his life, David found joy in the simplest of pleasures. One of his favorite pastimes was taking a trip to Wal-Mart to indulge in freshly baked bread. He had a deep passion for soccer and would spend countless hours glued to the TV screen, cheering for his favorite teams. Splitting wood also became a cherished hobby for him,

He is survived by his wife, Becky Ann Baker McConville; daughters, Elizabeth (Alex) Velez of Carrollton, GA, Ashley (Keith) Hardy of Carrollton, GA, and Catherine McConville of Douglasville, GA; son, Michael Baker of Carrollton, GA; brothers, Bede (Lorraine) McConville and Kevin McConville, both of United Kingdom; eight grandchildren, Emily, Monique, Nayomi, Cataleya, Skylar, Georgia, Isaiah and Peyton; two great-grandchildren, Rose and Michael; several nieces and nephews.

In accordance with his wishes, he was cremated. There are no further arrangements at this time.
