David Michael Hammonds

David Michael Hammonds Mr. David Michael Hammonds, age 59, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Thursday, December 17, 2009. He was born January 8, 1950 in Columbus, Georgia the son of the late Mr. John Thomas Hammonds and the late Mrs. Mary Louise Knight Hammonds. He was of the Jehovah Witness Faith. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War and worked as a sorter for the U.S. Postal Service. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, John Lawrence Sullivan Hammonds, II and Richard Patrick Hammonds. He is survived by his sister, Rachael Potts of Pikeville, TN; 6 nieces and nephews; 3 great-nieces and nephews. No service is planned. According to his wishes, Mr. Hammonds was cremated.
