Mr. David Phillip Dilbeck, 48, of Villa Rica, Georgia passed away Thursday, November 30, 2006 at Tanner Medical Center in Villa Rica, Georgia. He was born December 29, 1957 in Fulton County, Georgia, the son of Mr. John M. Dilbeck, Jr. and the late Mrs. Louise June Hager Dilbeck. Mr. Dilbeck was a veteran of the United States Air Force Reserves. He was a member of Happy Valley Baptist Church in Villa Rica, Georgia. Mr. Dilbeck worked for 26 years as a supervisor in the Water Department for the City of Atlanta. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Cindy White Dilbeck of Villa Rica; his daughter, Kimberly June Dilbeck of Villa Rica; his sons, Steven Phillip Dilbeck of Villa Rica and James Christopher Hogan of Villa Rica; his father, John M. Dilbeck, Jr. of Villa Rica; his brothers and sisters-in-law, Johnny and JoAnn Dilbeck of Senoia, Tim and Anita Dilbeck of Toccoa and Ardy and Shellie Hager of Conyers; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, December 3, 2006 at 2:00 PM from Happy Valley Baptist Church in Villa Rica, Georgia with Brother Eddie Wyatt, Brother Freddie Young and Brother Charles Dyer officiating. Musical selections will provided by Renee Hill. Serving as pallbearers will be Jimmy Thurmond, Mike Hardy, Keith Garland, Johnny Stovall, Terry Beck and Bart Phillips. Mr. Dilbeck will lie in state at Happy Valley Baptist Church on Sunday, December 3, 2006 from 1:30 PM until the funeral hour. Interment will follow in West Georgia Memorial Park in Villa Rica, Georgia. The family will be receiving friends in the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica, Friday, December 1, 2006 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM and Saturday, December 2, 2006 from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM Messages of condolence may be sent to the family at www.jones-wynn.com.
