David Strickland

Mr. David Carlton Strickland, 59, of Villa Rica, Georgia passed away Saturday, September 23, 2017, following an extended illness. He was born July 21, 1958 in Douglasville, Georgia, the son of the late Mr. James Herman Strickland and the late Mrs. Bertha Irene Davis Strickland. He worked as a welder and was a Christian by faith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Bobby James Strickland. He is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Sonia and Dan Hulsey and Tonya and Joshua Richie all of Villa Rica; son, David “Lee” Strickland of Villa Rica; six grandchildren, Deejay, Devan, Dylan, Riley, Peyton, and Karsyn; one great-grandchild, Hayden; two nieces and one nephew. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica, Monday, September 25, 2017 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at 3:00 PM at the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica with Pastor Lamar Parson officiating.
