David Summerville

September 22, 1964 — August 10, 2011

Mr. David Lee “Super Dave” Summerville, age 46, of Bremen passed away Wednesday, August 10, 2011. He was born September 22, 1964 in Bremen the son of the late Mr. Buford Curtis Summerville and Mrs. Betty Joyce Lewis Summerville. He worked for Vulcan Materials for twenty five years. He was a member of New Season Pentecostal Church. He loved drawing, fishing, hunting, collecting knives and cars. In addition to his father, Buford Curtis Summerville, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Tarah Alisha Summerville and brother Donald Wayne Summerville. He is survived by his daughter, Deidre Lee “Sweet Pea” Summerville of Villa Rica; mother, Betty Joyce Lewis Summerville of Bremen; step-daughters, Brandi Muir of Alabama and Jessica Tomlinson of Virginia; step-son, Joe Tomlinson of Acworth; sisters and brothers-in-law, Peggy Sue and Dennis Billingsley of Temple, Pamela Ann and Jason Spray of Temple, Cindy and Chad Bell of Bremen; three grandchildren, Nessa Tomlinson, Laila, Lillie Ennis, Jonathan, and Chris Muir; nieces and nephews, Jamie Smith, Kevin Smith, Kristan Billingsley, Elizabeth Spray; great-nephews, Tyler Lee Smith and Michael Davis. Several aunts, uncles and extended family also survive. Funeral Services will be conducted Sunday, August 14, 2011 at 3:00 PM from the chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica with Rev. Jason Spray officiating. Interment will follow at Meadowbrook Memory Gardens in Villa Rica. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica Saturday, August 13, 2011 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM.
