Mr. David Timothy Wilson, age 46, of Winston, Georgia passed away Thursday, January 1, 2009. He was born October 19, 1962 in Marietta, Georgia the son of Mr. Eugene Wilson and Mrs. Ina Laura Jones Wilson. He was a member of Ephesus Baptist Church in Winston. He was a 1980 graduate of McEachern High School He worked as the Paint Shop Manager at Smyrna Truck Equipment Company. He enjoyed farming and deer hunting. He was an avid collector of John Deere memorabilia. Mr. Wilson was devoted to his family and was a devoted husband and loving and proud father to his four girls. He is survived by his wife, Licia Denise Cheek Wilson of Winston; daughters and sons-in-law, Stephanie and Derek Rogers of Hiram, Erica and Derek Bottino of Dallas, Paige Wilson of Winston, and Timberly Wilson of Winston; his parents, Eugene and Ina Laura Wilson of Hiram; sister and brother-in-law, Karen and Shelby Hord of Powder Springs; brothers and sister-in-law, Greg Wilson of Lanett, AL and Matt and Christy Wilson of Douglasville; his grandson, Dylan Rogers; father-in-law, David Roy and Connie Cheek of Douglasville; several nieces and nephews also survive. Funeral Services will be conducted Sunday, January 4, 2009 at 2:00 PM from the Douglas Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Dr. Billy Godwin and Pastor Randy Locke officiating. Interment will follow at Kennesaw Memorial Park. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Douglas Chapel, Saturday, January 3, 2009 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
