David Treadway

Mr. David Henry Treadway, age 73, of Lithia Springs, Georgia passed away Wednesday, November 9, 2011. He was born January 13, 1938 in Buffalo, South Carolina the son of the late Mr. Curtis Stephen Treadway, Sr. and the late Mrs. Pauline Walker Treadway. He retired from Metro Brokers as a Realtor after serving in the Douglas County area since September of 1965. He was a kind and gentle man, who will be greatly missed. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, David Stephen Treadway; stepson, Walter Person and brother, Bobby Treadway; and one nephew. He is survived by his wife, Catherine “Cathy” Ann Oberleitner Treadway of Lithia Springs; sister, Anne Lancaster of Buffalo, SC; brothers and sister-in-law, Curtis Treadway of Aiken, SC and Doug and Sarah Treadway of North Augusta, SC; daughter-in-law, Brenda Molinet; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Terry and Melinda Oberleitner of Breaux Bridge, Louisiana; one granddaughter, Brittany Altamirano; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews also survive. A gathering of friends and family will be Saturday, November 12, 2011 from 10:00 AM until the service time at 11:00 AM. Memorial Services will be conducted Saturday, November 12, 2011 at 11:00 AM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Pastor Jerry Adair officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Mr. David Henry Treadway may be made to County Line Baptist Church, 1814 N. County Line Road, Lithia Springs, Georgia 30122.
