Davis Neal MehergMr. Davis Neal Meherg, age 80, of Carrollton, passed away, Monday, January 8, 2018. He was born February 25, 1937 in Alabama the son of the late Mr. Ira Meherg and the late Mrs. Minnie Tarwater Meherg. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Sue Ford Meherg; son, James Meherg; and several brothers and sisters.He is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law, Deborah Hayes of Woodstock, Donna and James Clouse of Missouri, Lydia and Terry Norris of Carrollton, Patricia and Steven Fields of Temple; sons and daughters-in-law, Danny and Frances Meherg of Sandhill, Gary Meherg of Carrollton, Harold and Debbie Meherg of Temple; sister, Sue Meherg of Villa Rica; brothers, Glenn Meherg of Villa Rica, James Meherg of Douglasville; 20 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica, Wednesday, January 10, 2017 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Thursday, January 11, 2017 at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Rev. Jim Finley officiating.
