Dawn West

Mrs. Dawn Elise Horner West, age 50, of Douglasville, Georgia found peace Sunday, July 15, 2012. She was born November 7, 1961 in Massillon, Ohio the daughter of the late Mr. Donald Edward Horner and the late Mrs. Jo Anne Heckathorne Horner. She was a Christian by faith. She was the Executive Director of the Children’s Voice CASA. She is survived by her husband, Howard Glenn West of Douglasville, GA; two daughters, Richelle Bingman and Caryn West both of Springfield, MO; sons, Justin West and Jeremy West both of Colonial Heights, VA; brother, Robert “Bob” Horner of McCordsville, IN; sister, Melinda Horner of Orrville, OH; one grandson, Joseph West of Colonial Heights, VA; several nieces and nephews also survive. A private memorial service is planned for a later date. In lieu of flowers contributions in memory of Mrs. Dawn Elise West may be made to Children’s Voice CASA, 8700 Hospital Drive 3rd Floor, Douglasville, GA 30134.
