Deborah "Debbie" Jane Ashworth

Deborah “Debbie” Jane Ashworth, 70, of Trion, Georgia passed away on Sunday, December 25, 2022. She was born on September 28, 1952. She is the daughter of the late Theodore Bohannon and the late Christine Ashworth.

Mrs. Ashworth enjoyed gardening and flowers. She loved country music and spending time with her grandchildren. Mrs. Ashworth was a very good cook.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Ashworth is preceded in death by her husband, David Wayne Ashworth, Sr.; daughter, Deborah Ashworth; sisters, Yvonne Fraser and Barbara Mulkey.

Mrs. Ashworth is survived by her loving partner, Terry; daughter, Christy (Gary) Mauldin of Sylacauga, Alabama; son, David Ashworth, Jr. of Hattiesburg, Mississippi; grandchildren, Matthew Mauldin, Zachary Hedgelon, Crystal Rose Ashworth, Jessica Marie Ashworth; several great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 29, 2022 from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home Villa Rica Chapel. A graveside service will follow at 2:30 PM at Meadowbrook Memory Gardens.
