Mrs. Deborah Princess Cook Brown, 49, of 263 S.D. Hicks Rd., Villa Rica, and GA passed away, Wednesday, August 3, 2011 at her residence battling an extended illness. She was born May 26, 1962 in Carrollton, Georgia. She was employed at SunTrust Bank. She was a member of First Pentecostal Church in Villa Rica where she was actively involved as a Sunday School Teacher for the 5-8 year old class, the Ida Bell Circle, the Amazing Grace Ladies Group, the Crochet Group and sang in the Choir. Her hobbies included traveling, crocheting and reading. Remaining immediate family two daughters, Christie Brown of Dallas and Lindsey Brown of Dallas, mother and step-father, Mary Couch Ward and Robert Ward of Villa Rica, father and step mother, William Melbern Cook and Ida Mae Cook of Cedartown, two brothers, Allen and Samantha Cook of Waco and Jeffrey Cook of Villa Rica, a grandson that is due August 13, 2011, Clayton Scott Smith, four aunts and five uncles. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, August 7, 2011 at 2:00 PM from the First Pentecostal Church in Villa Rica with Rev. Eddie Allen and Rev. Stanley Flowers officiating. She will be placed in state at the church at 1:30 PM. Musical selections will be by the Church Choir. Interment will follow in the Carroll Memory Gardens in Carrollton. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica, Saturday, August 6, 2011 from 11:00 AM until 9:00 PM.
