DeLaine Harrod Lloyd

DeLaine H. Lloyd, 82, of Villa Rica, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Thursday, December 25, 2025. She was born on February 27, 1943, the daughter of the late Alexander Keith Harrod and the late Verna Dykes Harrod.

DeLaine had a generous heart and she was a selfless person that drew people to her. She was social butterfly and she was always willing to lend a hand. Most days you could find her laughing and plying bridge with “the girls.” Those who had the pleasure of knowing DeLaine will remember her for her love and kindness to others.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Lloyd and her sister, Barbara Roberson.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Chris Weaver of Douglasville; brother, Ken Harrod of Villa Rica; grandchildren, Brittany and Terry Hancock, Brannon Archer, Olivia Weaver, and Grace Weaver; great-grandchildren, August, Luca and Elliot; several nieces and nephews.

In accordance with her wishes, she was cremated. The family will hold a private celebration of DeLaine’s life at a later time.

DeLaine’s legacy will live on, not only in memories but in the lives she touched with her unwavering love and generosity.
