Diane Roork

Mrs. Diane Mary Gibson Roork, age 63, of Dallas, Georgia passed away Tuesday, August 29, 2017. She was born June 24, 1954 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, the daughter of the late Mr. Albert Gibson and the late Mrs. Theresa Ann McCabe Gibson. She had a deep love for her family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed shopping, playing bingo and shuffleboard. She was of the Baptist Faith and received great joy in attending church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Roork; and brother, William Joseph Gibson. She is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Theresa and Richard McKinnon of Dallas and Desiray Roork and Martin Diaz of Woodstock; son and daughter-in-law, Franklin Roork and Sampanna Kharel of Acworth; four grandchildren, Hannah, Franklin Jr., Aydenn, and Adrian. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica, Sunday, September 3, 2017 from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM. Memorial Services will be conducted Sunday, September 3, 2017 at 3:00 PM at the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Villa Rica with Pastor Chip Ray officiating.
