Mrs. Dollie Mae Timms Glowacki, age 72, of Douglasville, Georgia passed away Monday, May 9, 2011 at WellStar Kennestone Hospital. She was born April 5, 1939 in Felton, Georgia the daughter of the late Mr. Thomas Jefferson Timms and the late Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Ingle Timms. She was a member of St. John Vianney Catholic Church in Lithia Springs. Mrs. Glowacki was a homemaker and was devoted to her family. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her son, Han’s Thomas Walter Glowacki, Sr. on April 13, 2007; her stepmother, Mary Timms; her sisters, Lillian Timms and Bessie Mae Morris; and her brothers, James “Buddy” Timms, Tommy Jefferson Timms, and an infant half brother. She is survived by her loving husband, Richard Stanley Glowacki, Sr. of Douglasville; her children and their spouses, Karl Donzick and Kim Glowacki of Newnan, Dawn Elizabeth and Richard Van Gilder, II of Hiram; Victoria Christine and Jeff Buchanan of Douglasville; Pamela Mary Glowacki of Douglasville; Neda Catherine and Greg Riddle, Sr. of Virginia Beach, Virginia; Richard Stanley Jr. and Raedene Glowacki of Douglasville; daughter-in-law, Vickie Parker of Texas; sisters and brothers-in-law, Minnie Lee and Bobby Surrett of Piedmont, AL; and Betty Ann and Richard Reynolds of Cleveland, TN; sister-in-law, Shirley Timms of Cedartown; 16 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Wednesday, May 11, 2011 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM with a rosary service at 7:00 PM and Thursday, May 12, 2011 from 5:00 PM until the funeral hour at 7:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Thursday, May 12, 2011 at 7:00 PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville. Interment will be Friday, May 13, 2011 at 11:00 AM at the Georgia National Cemetery in Canton. Messages of condolences to the family may be sent from www.jones-wynn.com.
