Delores "Dee" Olson, 98, of Villa Rica, Georgia, passed away on November 3, 2023. She was born on March 11, 1925, in Ashland, Nebraska. She is the daughter of the late Martin and Mildred Ballou. She was the oldest of six children. She is preceded in death by her husband of forty-nine years, Duane "Perk" Olson, and her five younger siblings, Mary, Marty, Jessie, Jim and Gene.

She was a retired executive secretary to the CEO of Glendale Federal Bank in California. She was an avid pianist and played mostly by ear. When she was a little girl taking piano lessons, her piano teacher threw up her hands when she preferred to play everything by ear. She was very social and she never met a stranger.  She enjoyed traveling, any kind of puzzles, reading and of course playing her beautiful baby grand piano, which is now display at the Carrollton VA Hospital. She had great aspirations of being a Centenarian. She also took great pride in her cat KC.

Survivors include her son, Steve Olson and his companion Elaine McCurdy of Omaha, Nebraska; daughter-in-law, Ileana Olson of Riverside, California; daughter and son-in-law, Janet and Howard Goland of Klamath Falls, Oregon; two bonus children, Dan and Jacki Lafollette of Villa Rica, Georgia, five grandchildren;  eleven great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
