Donald Acker

Mr. Donald Ray Acker, age 70, of Douglasville, passed away Tuesday, December 25, 2018. He was born June 1, 1948 to the late Mr. William Acker and Mrs. Hester Yarborough. He was an Avid NASCAR Fan. He was of the Baptist faith.In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a son, Michael Acker; brother, James Acker.He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Avery Arline Acker of Douglasville, GA; daughter and son-in-law, Susan and John Kacmarynski of Green Bay, WI; sons and daughter-in-law’s, David and Susy Leshinsky of Ft. Myers, FL, Thomas and Angel Leshinsky of Bristol, TN; brother and sister-in-law’s, Wayne and Denise Acker of Scottsboro, AL, and Martha Acker; three grandchildren; one great grandchild; numerous nieces and nephews also survive.The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville, Thursday, January 3, 2018 from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM. Funeral services will be conducted at the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Thursday, January 3, 2018 at 3:00 PM with Rev. Jim Grieme officiating. Interment will follow at Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
